SDF responds firmly to suicide drone attacks around Tishrin Dam

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement today, confirming that their forces responded firmly to attacks carried out by suicide drones by factions of the Transitional Government in the vicinity of Tishrin Dam.

The SDF statement read:

"In a serious escalation and a continuation of the policy of undermining security and stability, the factions ‘Sultan Murad,’ ‘Sultan Suleiman Shah/Al-Amshat,’ and ‘Al-Hamzat,’ affiliated with the Ministry of Defense of the Damascus government, at 11:00 a.m. today, Tuesday, targeted the residential area around Tishrin Dam using two suicide drones, without causing any casualties among our forces.

At 4:00 p.m. the same day, the same factions resumed their attacks, targeting the Siriyatel Hill in the vicinity of Tishrin Dam with two additional suicide drones, again without causing any injuries.

In response to this repeated aggression, our forces carried out a legitimate and direct response on the launch sources of the suicide drones, targeting a military vehicle of the ‘Toyota’ type, in addition to a military outpost belonging to those factions, resulting in confirmed casualties among their ranks.
