SDF: More than 8 mercenaries killed, injured and 2 drones downed

The SDF Media Center issued a written statement today to the public, revealing the results of its operations in response to the Turkish occupation’s attacks. The statement read:

"Yesterday, Sunday, our fighters responded to the attacks of the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries with impactful, high-precision operations on the Qereqozaqê Bridge front, targeting Turkish occupation bases and mercenary gatherings. However, the extent of the damage inflicted on them remains unknown.

Meanwhile, Turkish occupation warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting several villages around Qereqozaqê Bridge, south of Kobani, including the villages of Ghasaq, Malha, and Al-Tina, as well as Serrin Airport, causing material damage. The airstrikes were accompanied by heavy artillery shelling, rocket launchers, and tank fire, randomly targeting the villages of Al-Tina, Jada, Bir Hassou, Dekan, and Malha, in addition to the hills of Sifi and Qereqozaqê, south of Kobani.

Additionally, warplanes and drones carried out continuous airstrikes around Tishrin Dam, with intense artillery shelling targeting villages surrounding the dam, southeast of Manbij. Our fighters responded to the Turkish occupation’s attacks, carrying out precise operations against mercenary gatherings in villages north of the dam, resulting in casualties among the mercenaries, although exact numbers are unknown.

Meanwhile, Martyr Haroun Units targeted a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries, along with a fortified gathering point. It was confirmed that two mercenaries were killed and six others were injured.

Furthermore, the Turkish occupation warplanes launched an airstrike on the village of Sheikh Ubaid, while our fighters managed to shoot down two explosive-laden suicide drones belonging to the mercenaries.

The Turkish occupation continued its aerial assaults, with warplanes striking the village of Al-Shioukh Foqani, west of Kobani, specifically targeting the water company, causing material damage to the facility. Turkish warplanes and drones remained active in the region’s airspace throughout the day."
