On the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of the town of al-Baghouz and the elimination of ISIS mercenaries from NE Syria, SDF hold a celebration in Al-Omar field.

Male and female leaders from the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, tribal sheikhs and notables in Deir ez-Zor, members of the institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Deir ez-Zor canton, and a delegation from the international coalition forces participate in the celebration.

Pictures of SDF's martyrs and flags, flags of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, and banners reading “For the sake of the brotherhood of peoples and the identity of the democratic nation, we will pledge to freedom, peace, and the homeland,” were hung in the celebration square.

The celebration program began with a minute of silence, and is scheduled to include several cultural lyrics and songs.

The celebration continues now with a speech by Luqman Khalil, the member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
