The SDC has issued a written statement condemning the massacre perpetrated by Turkish occupation forces against a family in the countryside of Kobani.

The council stressed that "this aggression, which claimed the lives of civilians in their homes, is a continuation of Turkey's hostile policies aimed at undermining security and dismantling the foundations of peaceful coexistence. This blatant violation of international law constitutes a war crime and underscores Ankara’s disregard for international legitimacy."

The SDC called on the interim government in Damascus to take a clear stance on these violations and urged the international coalition and key global actors to intervene and put an end to this aggression.

Furthermore, the council appealed to Syrian national forces to unite in the face of this assault.

Emphasizing its commitment to justice and accountability, the council declared: "This crime will not go unanswered. Our people’s struggle continues, and the time has come for decisive international action to halt these violations and lay the groundwork for a new phase that guarantees the rights and security of all Syrians."
