Scenes of HPG revolutionary operations

Firat News Agency (ANF) published scenes of the revolutionary operations carried out by the People's Defense Forces against the Turkish occupation army during 2023.

Revolutionary operations, which increased on the forty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, continued in November, December, January, and February. March in Zap, Khakurk, and Metina, and destroyed the hopes of the forces that bet on the defeat of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, and also shocked the government of the Justice and Development Party and the fascist National Movement.

On March 20, the Central Command of the People’s Defense Center (NPG) revealed good news for Nowroz and said: “The Kurdistan Liberation Movement Gêrîla now has techniques to shoot down armed drones, and our forces have so far shot down 15 drones.” Immediately after this statement, Gerîla TV began publishing scenes of shooting down these drones.

The scenes from the battlefields and the outcome of the battles show the inability of the Turkish occupation army to stand up to the People  Defense Forces, despite the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s alliance with it. The scenes of the revolutionary operation of Martyr Dogha Viyan, which was carried out in Zap on February 17, showed the Gêrîla calling on the occupation soldiers to “surrender.”

According to the outcome of battles for the year 2023 issued by the Central Command of the People’s Defense Center, “the Kurdistan Liberation Movement Guerrilla carried out 1,712 operations, which resulted in the killing of 928 soldiers from the Turkish occupation army, including 7 officers, while the Turkish occupation army launched 2,969 attacks, including attacks with chemical and banned weapons. It resulted in the martyrdom of 179 Gêrîla fighters, and during the month of November, 193 operations were carried out against the Turkish occupation army, resulting in the killing of 124 Turkish soldiers and the seizure of many weapons and ammunition and the destruction of many of them, in addition to the martyrdom of 4 Gêrîla fighters.
