Revealing smuggling and corruption file of oil company linked to KDP

 The representative of the Sadiqoun bloc, Hassan Salem, explained the extent of the corruption of the Kar Oil Company and its involvement in oil smuggling, indicating that it smuggles about 100 thousand barrels per day.

Salem indicated in the document issued by a library and addressed to the Public Prosecution, which was obtained by Roj News Agency, that based on Article (61 - Second and Seventh - A) of the Constitution in accordance with the provisions of Article (27) of the Constitution and based on the provisions of Articles 1 and 2 of the House of Representatives Law In order to preserve public money, we place in your hands a serious corruption file related to the smuggling of the Kar Company (100 thousand barrels per day).”

He called for taking "the maximum penalties and legal measures against the company, indicating that it is sufficient to give it 4 oil fields and an electricity contract."

The "Kar" company is owned by a person named "Baz al-Barzanji", who has connections with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the company's headquarters are located in Hawler Governorate.

Many documents and evidence revealed the Kurdistan Democratic Party's smuggling of oil from S. Iraq to Turkey, as political analysts reported that approximately 200 to 220 thousand barrels per day were smuggled to Turkey.
