Residents of NE Syria to head towards Aleppo

Following the statement issued by the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh Neighborhoods Council, the residents of North and East Syria are preparing to head towards Aleppo.

The Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh Neighborhoods Council in Aleppo issued a written statement to the public opinion on Friday in terms of the attacks targeting the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods since January 6th.

The council explained in its statement that the Interim Government and its mercenaries are forcing residents and Internal Security Forces in the besieged neighborhoods to surrender, and are attempting to commit massacres and impose a new wave of displacement, affirming its continued defense of its neighborhoods.

Following the statement, the Kurdish Red Crescent announced the dispatch of a medical and humanitarian convoy consisting of 15 vehicles towards Aleppo.

On the other hand, the residents of the Jazira, Deir ez-Zor, Tabqa, Raqqa, and the Euphrates cantons have begun preparing to head towards Aleppo.

According to information provided by the People's Councils in these cities, all cities are preparing to travel.
