Residents of Amuda demand meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan

The residents of Amuda, in al-Jazira canton, emphasized that their fundamental demand is to achieve the leader's physical freedom and to enable them to see and hear his voice. They emphasized that his freedom is the key to a solution and peace in the Middle East.

Citizen Khalat Mulla Ibrahim expressed her deep attachment to the leader's ideology, demanding his immediate physical freedom. She added, "We draw strength and hope from him, and we want to see him among us. We are not satisfied with just meeting with his family." She noted that the leader's ideology has liberated them from fear, emphasizing that thanks to him, women have gained an effective role in various fields.

Citizen Abdul Baqi Dawi, who met the leader in Lebanon in 1991, emphasized that the widespread participation in the marches stems from people's belief in the leader's project for peace and a democratic society. He said, "We hope to see him soon, because he is our light and life," adding that his words have been fresh in his mind since their meeting.

Citizen Munawwar Khaled described the current phase as historic, given the leader's call for peace and his comprehensive philosophy. She said, "We have been working on the leader's thought for decades, because it expresses humanity in all its dimensions, not just one issue." She concluded by saying, "Every mother dreams of seeing the leader, and I see him in my dreams and feel happy."

Popular marches and activities continue in North and East Syria demanding the leader's physical freedom, amid assurances that his freedom will pave the way for a just and lasting peace.
