Residents: KDP must stop its treason against Kurdish people

The Turkish occupying state is launching continuous attacks on the regions of Southern Kurdistan, with the cooperation and blessing of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which has provoked the anger of Kurds in all parts. 

In this context, a number of residents from the cities of Girkê Legê and Ad-Derbasiya in al-Jazira region condemned the positions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and called on the Kurds of Kurdistan to rise up against the party's subservience to Turkish occupation.

The citizen Siamand Mohammed, a resident of the village of Gri Bri belonging to the city of Girkê Legêin the Jazira region, stated that Turkey's goal with its attacks on the areas of legitimate defense in Mediya and Southern Kurdistan is to eliminate the freedom movement and occupy Kurdish lands.

Siamand Mohammed condemned the Kurdistan Democratic Party's dependence on Turkish occupation, stating that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party has been against the Kurdish cause from the very beginning, and we do not accept this. We must all unite and stand together to confront the Kurdistan Democratic Party."

Citizen Wahida Mohammed called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party "to stop its betrayal and subservience to the enemy against the Kurdish people; because the Turkish occupation aims to divide the peoples."

Citizen Mustafa Ramadan called for "supporting the guerrilla and for us to stand united against the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which is collaborating with the Turkish occupation in its attacks on the guerrilla forces."

In a related context, citizen Fatima Kulash from the city of Ad-Derbasiya stated that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party is working to advance its own interests and those of the enemy at the expense of the Kurdish people in Kurdistan, and its hands are stained with Kurdish blood, and everyone should boycott it."

She added: "The Kurdish parties in Southern Kurdistan must unite and stand against the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the occupation; they must show a national stance to deter the occupation and put an end to the betrayal of the Kurdish people."

and called on the people of Southern Kurdistan to take to the streets "and rise up against the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to put an end to its treachery against the Kurdish people."

As citizen Dilbar Shamo stated, the Kurdish people are fighting for freedom, but "the Kurdistan Democratic Party supports the enemy and openly betrays the Kurdish people."

The political parties in Southern Kurdistan were criticized by saying: "Why haven't they shown their stance regarding the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Southern Kurdistan?" "All Kurdish parties must unite and show a stance against the Kurdistan Democratic Party and boycott it."

Citizen Mohammed Nabi Koti from the people of Ad-Derbasiya explained that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party, represented by the Barzani family, plays a role of betrayal in the counter-war against the Kurdish liberation movement that is being waged by the occupying Turkish state on the areas of legitimate defense."

He added by saying: "The Kurdistan Democratic Party is powerless in front of the enemy and cannot represent the Kurdish people. The current phase requires unity, solidarity, and cohesion with the people for freedom, but the Barzani family has turned Hewler into a center for a special war against the people in favor of the occupying Turkish state."
