According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), an Israeli force advanced this morning toward the junction of Sayda al-Golan in the southern countryside, near the separation line with the Golan and adjacent to the administrative border with Daraa in the Yarmouk Basin area.

Israeli military vehicles were deployed in the area, where they set up a temporary checkpoint on the road before withdrawing after about an hour.

The SOHR also reported another incursion the day before yesterday, when an Israeli force consisting of six vehicles and dozens of troops advanced into the entrance of Jbata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra countryside. The operation included setting up a temporary checkpoint and conducting raids and searches of civilian homes before withdrawing.

The Israeli military movements triggered a wave of fear and anticipation among locals, at a time when tensions are escalating along the frontlines in southern Syria.
