“Qamishlo: City of Cleanliness” campaign targets over 12 schools

The “Qamishlo: City of Cleanliness” campaign continues in the city of Qamishlo, targeting more than 12 schools this week as part of efforts to prepare schools for the new academic year, improve their cleanliness, and create an organized educational environment for students.

The campaign, launched by the Qamishlo District Directorate on its own initiative in cooperation with the municipality and several service and civil institutions, continued today with the cleaning and rehabilitation of schools in preparation for the new academic year.

The campaign was launched on August 13 under the slogan “Qamishlo: City of Cleanliness,” coinciding with the centennial of the city’s founding.

Today’s activities covered several schools, including around 12 where representatives of the district directorate, Qamishlo Brigade, municipality, and service and civil institutions participated in cleaning efforts. Other schools were also cleaned and organized by their teaching and service staff.

The campaign’s focus on schools comes as preparations continue for the new academic year, which officially begins on September 6, with the aim of providing students with a clean and organized educational environment and promoting a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility for maintaining school cleanliness.
