Yesterday, the Turkish occupation state launched drone attacks on Jazera Canton in NE Syria, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces and the wounding of 12 citizens.

As part of the reactions denouncing the ongoing Turkish occupation attacks on NE Syria, the General Council in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo made a statement, condemning these attacks and calling on all components in the region to rally around the military forces to defend the region, and protecting the gains of thousands of martyrs.

The statement affirmed, " Our people will answer the call of national duty and stand with their military forces, defeat the aggression, protect the gains, and complete their electoral process by choosing someone to represent them in their municipalities."

The Executive Council of Raqqa Canton also made a statement, condemning these attacks. The statement affirmed, "The current and previous Turkish threats and attacks aim to restore Ottomanism and control the fate and future of the peoples of the region, and prevent the development of the democratic popular will that aims to build free society."

The statement called for solidarity and insistence on protecting the region from all attempts of extermination and denial.

The Confederation of Democratic Society Organizations in Raqqa made a statement denouncing these attacks and stressing the need to hold the Turkish occupation state accountable.

The statement called on international human rights organizations and bodies to carry out their humanitarian duty to stand against these attacks, which particularly target workers in the humanitarian sector.

In this context, the people of the city of Amuda went out in a march denouncing these attacks, the member of the Popular Initiative in the city of Amuda, gave a speech in which he denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region, and pledged to continue the struggle and resistance to achieve victory. The Afrin and Shahba Council also made a statement denouncing these attacks and stressing that the goal of the Turkish occupation state is to destabilize the region and annihilate its people.
