Popular resistance continues at Tishreen Dam, which has become the voice of the people against the aggression and a symbol of community unity in the face of attempts to destabilize the area.

In this regard, ANHA agency met with some of the resistance participants from the city of Tabqa, who expressed their determination to continue standing up against Turkish violations

Imad Obeid said: "Today, we are heading to Tishreen Dam, the dam of resistance, to prove to the world that the will of the people is invincible, and that no matter how long it takes, they will prevail. We, the sons of Syria, Kurds and Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Alawites, are united in confronting tyranny and violence. We send a message to the world that we are advocates of peace, and that the dams and the people's resources are not the property of a specific group, but rather of all the sons of the nation.”

For her part, Ayat Al-Habal emphasized the importance of this shift, saying, "This is a popular resistance that will not be broken."

She continued, "We will continue this resistance because it is the only hope for us to live in freedom and peace. This land was watered by the blood of martyrs from all communities, and we will continue to follow in their footsteps until we achieve certain victory."

The resistance of the people at the Tishreen Dam has been ongoing since January 8, while emphasizing that this land, its water, and its infrastructure do not belong to any party, but rather are the right of everyone who lives on this land. Every drop of water protected today will water the flower of freedom tomorrow.
