On Sunday, the Western neighborhood of Qamishlo city witnessed a protest demonstration attended by dozens of local residents and shop owners, demanding improvements in economic and living conditions as well as solutions to the crises of rising prices and power outages.

The protesters raised banners calling for urgent solutions to the livelihood crisis, ensuring a stable electricity supply, and implementing measures to curb rising prices that are placing a heavy burden on citizens.

The participants echoed slogans calling for improved living standards, emphasizing that the persistent rise in prices of essential goods and frequent power outages have negatively impacted their daily lives and severely disrupted their livelihoods and business activities.

The protesters emphasized the necessity of alleviating the living burdens faced by the city's residents.
