Ninth-grade and secondary school exams continue amidst organizational and security measures

The ninth grade and secondary (baccalaureate) exams for students in Hasaka Governorate are continuing amidst organizational and security measures aimed at providing a suitable environment for students during the exam period.

Today, June 6th, the Ninth-grade certificate exams administered by the Autonomous Administration for private students began, coinciding with the start of the secondary certificate exams for both the public and private tracks administered by the Interim Government, following the curriculum of the former Syrian regime.

The Ninth-grade certificate exams administered by the Autonomous Administration are being held in six examination centers distributed across the cities of Qamishlo, Derik, and Hasaka, with approximately 1,700 students registered to take them.

The secondary school certificate exams administered by the Interim Government are being held in 50 examination centers across the cities of Hasaka, Qamishlo, Serêkaniyê, and al-Shaddadi. A total of 12,412 students are registered for these exams, in addition to 546 students taking vocational training courses.

The secondary school certificate exams for the Autonomous Administration curriculum began on June 4th, the same day as the Ninth-grade school certificate exams for the Interim Government.

According to the published exam schedules, the exams will continue until June 28th.

The examination process is accompanied by security and organizational measures. The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) are responsible for protecting and securing the examination centers to ensure a calm and stable environment conducive to students taking their exams effectively.
