Israeli forces arrested a young man from the southern Quneitra countryside during new incursions into southern Syria.

Israeli forces carried out new incursions into the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria early this morning, arresting a young man after raiding his home, as part of ongoing violations in the border region.

Local sources reported that an Israeli patrol entered the village of Abu Mathrat in the southern Quneitra countryside, arresting a young man and taking him to an unknown location.

Meanwhile, another patrol entered the village of Al-Ashah, but no further arrests were reported.

According to statistics released by Golan FM radio, Israeli forces have carried out more than 700 incursions into Syrian territory since the fall of the Ba'ath regime, resulting in the arrest of approximately 197 people. Forty-three individuals remain in detention, with some having been transferred to Israeli prisons.
