Politicians condemn the continuity of the torture and extermination mechanism

The Turkish occupation state is continuing to implement a system of torture and extermination against leader Abdullah Ocalan on Imrali Island. In this context, political leaders in al-Hasakah city in al- Jazira region view that the continuation of the isolation and torture system against the leader contradicts any pursuit of peace, indicating that his liberation is a basic condition for putting an end to wars and conflicts in the Middle East.

Here, the Kurdish politician Mohammad Ashraf Ali said: "What has been happening in the Middle East for decades is because of the absence of free thinking, where the destiny of the peoples is held by dictatorial regimes that suppress any way of liberation and change."

Ashraf Ali added that the liberated thinking introduced by leader Abdullah Ocalan from its inception is endangering authoritarian undertakings in the region, and it has led the major powers to conspire against him and to hold him captive. He swore under oath that the spread of the ideas of the leader in the region today is proof that he is the people's first choice for freedom and peace.

He continued: "Turkey claims to seek peace, but in the meanwhile it practices horrendous human rights abuses on leader Abdullah Ocalan and continues policies of isolation and repression. Peace cannot be achieved while the leader is imprisoned."

The citizens of the region look upon their freedom as that of the leader.

In the meantime, on her part, Democratic Union Party co-chair in the city of al-Hasakah Fatima Hassan condemned the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Ocalan, affirming that the peoples of the region and all their various elements consider his freedom an assurance of their rights and freedom.

She said: "The countries that conspired against the leader decades ago now recognize that he is the pivot for peace, and that his role in achieving sustainable political solutions cannot be underestimated, because the peoples of the region will not abandon the cause of his freedom.".

There will be no peace without freedom for the leader.

Fatima Hassan confirmed that freedom for the leader is putting an end to wars in the Middle East, and that peace will not be achieved except by liberating him.

She concluded her speech with the following statement: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a symbol of the struggle for oppressed peoples, and he laid the foundations for women's freedom and the democratic revolution. Our decision is clear: We will continue the struggle until the last breath for his freedom, because his freedom means freedom for all."
