Person killed, 3 others wounded in explosion of war remnants in Daraa countryside

One person was killed and three others, among them a child, were injured in an explosion of war remnants in Inkhil, in Daraa countryside, amid the continued threat of explosive ordnance to civilians in Syria.

On Saturday, one person was killed and three others,including a child, were wounded in an explosion caused by explosive remnants of war inside a house near anautomated bakery in Inkhil in the northern countryside ofDaraa.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) pointed to the continued danger of war remnants in Syria, which frequently results in the injuring and killing ofcivilians, especially children.

According to the Observatory, the number of civilians killed by war remnants explosion from December 8, 2024 to 2025 has reached approximately 606, among them 164 children and 42 women, while 663 others, including 291 children and 21 women got injured.

According to local sources and official media outlets, in Aleppo, one person was killed and several others were injured on Friday evening by the blast of pickup vehicleinside an auto repair shop in al-Mashhad neighborhoodof the city, with the death toll expected to rise.

The sources explained that the blast occurred during a welding operation on a vehicle, which was later found to be loaded with ammunition and weapons, causing a violent explosion led to casualties.
