Perform Eid prayers and visits shrines of martyrs in NE Syria

Muslims in the NE Syria performed Eid prayers in mosques, then headed to the shrines of the martyrs.

As dawn broke, the voices of takbirs and cheers rose throughout the mosques of the NE Syria region and the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods, with the arrival of Eid, after which the people headed to perform Eid prayers.

The scenes that appeared expressed unity and social cohesion among all the people of NE Syria, as hands embraced and smiles and hugs were exchanged, amidst expressions of blessing that echoed, announcing the start of a celebratory day in which everyone participated.

After performing the Eid prayer, the people went to the shrines of the martyrs throughout the region of NE Syria, starting from the city of Derik, all the way to the areas of Tal Koçer, Tal Hamis, Tal Brak, Tirbespiyê, and the city of Qamishlo, passing through the district of Amuda, Al-Darbasiyah, and Tal Tamr, arriving at the city of Hasaka, and the district of Al-Shaddadi and Al-Hol, and the Cantons of Raqqa, Tabqa, Manbij, Deir ez-Zor, Kobani, Afrin, Al-Shahba, and the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods.

In the shrines of the martyrs, the people placed roses on the shrines of the martyrs, and the families of the martyrs and the families distributed sweets for the Eid. Some Qur’anic verses were recited, and the people stressed, through their solidarity, which was clear in the shrines of the martyrs, the people stressed the rejection of differences and that the Eid is an opportunity to renew resolve and strengthen the bonds of affection and love among everyone

After visiting the shrines of the martyrs, the people went to the homes to exchange Eid greetings.
