Today, the People's Democratic Council in Manbij  held a session in the People's Assembly hall in the city of Manbij to discuss the most prominent difficulties caused by the Turkish occupation attacks.

The session was attended by male and female members of the Peoples’ Democratic Council in Manbij.

The meeting began with a minute of silence, then the repercussions of the Turkish occupation attacks on the region, their targeting of infrastructure and service facilities, their impact on the living conditions of citizens, and ways to avoid crises and provide appropriate solutions were discussed.

The meeting included granting confidence to the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Body, Saleh Jaffal, and the co-chair of the Executive Council in Manbij, Anas Jalal Al-Ahmad, who took the oath to carry out their duties.

Anas Al-Ahmad was born in Manbij in 1988. He holds a master’s degree in sociology and is a founding member of the Syrian Center for Studies and Dialogue.

On the sidelines of the meeting, ANHA agency met with the co-chair of the Democratic Peoples’ Council in Manbij, Muhammad Ali Al-Abbo, who said: “This regular session includes several axes. The first axis was granting confidence to comrade Saleh Jaffal as co-chair of the Youth and Sports Body, and to comrade Anas Al-Ahmad as co-chair of the Executive Council.”

He added: "The session included other topics that discussed citizens' concerns resulting from the Turkish occupation's targeting of the energy sector in the region.
