People of Tirbespiyê: Everyone should take responsibility for defending NE Syria

Volunteers from the city of Tirbespiyê in the Jazira region participated in a weapons assembly and disassembly training course under the supervision of the Community Protection Forces (HPC) and the Community Protection Forces – Women (HPC-JIN). The training aims to prepare them to defend their city against potential threats.

 Nasrin Temo stated that she joined the course to protect herself and her city's neighborhoods. She said: “We are continuously subjected to attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. However, with our faith in our abilities and through unity, we will thwart all assaults and safeguard the achievements of our revolution.”

 Similarly, Naim Othman decided to undergo weapons training following the general mobilization declared by the Autonomous Administration to bolster the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ). He stressed the importance of collective effort to eliminate the dangers facing the region.

 Qadriya Khalil underscored the importance of every individual in NE Syria taking responsibility and learning to handle arms to defend their cities. She also praised the resistance demonstrated by the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).

 Since the beginning of December, the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries have intensified their attacks on NE Syria.
