People of Shahba, IDPs of Afrin slam strict isolation on leader

The people of Afrin and al-Shahba canton condemned the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and stressed that they would not remain silent about the torture system in Imrali.

Warda Sheikho denounced the silence of international powers and their failure to respond to the calls of the people and their demands to release Leader Ocalan. She expressed her concern about his situation, and said: “They will not force us to remain silent by intensifying the isolation and torture on our leader. On the contrary, we will escalate our struggle, following the leader’s ideas."

The displaced Zainab Othman, condemned the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan and said: “They wanted to break the will of the people by arresting Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the leader is only physically detained, but he is present among us with his thoughts. We will escalate our struggle until we achieve the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan.”

The displaced, Hayat Ibrahim, expressed their willingness to make great sacrifices for the sake of the nation's democratic philosophy created by leader Abdullah Ocalan.
