People of Raqqa: Erdogan’s planes, drones won't deter us

Popular, political and social reactions rejecting the renewed Turkish occupation attacks on NE Syria since the evening of December 23 continue, affecting infrastructure and human resources.

After targeting the infrastructure in the Tirbespiye and Derik, the Turkish occupation army today (Monday, December 25) targeted the infrastructure and facilities in the cities of Kobani and Qamishlo.

In the context of these reactions, the member of the Ahl al-Bayt League, Sobhi Muhammad, affirmed that “in the name of the Ahl al-Bayt League and all the peoples of NE Syria, we denounce the brutal Turkish aggression on the areas of Derik, Tirbespiye, and Hasaka.”

Al-Muhammad explained, "We will stand with and alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we will go out to the squares and raise our voices against this brutal occupier, and neither his planes nor his drones will deter us."

In turn, the member of the Union of Intellectuals of the city of Raqqa, Raad Al-Fadil, said: “The Turkish occupation state targets human resources and infrastructure with its aircraft, and this indicates the cowardice and fear of this fascist occupier, because the oil and electricity station does not pose any danger to anyone, but this occupier is trying to destabilize the security and stability of the region.”

In turn, the Co-Chair of the General Council in Raqqa, Haifa Muslim, said, "These heinous and shameful acts are not new to the Turkish occupation state, and the pace of these attacks increased after the ratification of the new Social Contract."

Haifa Muslim explained, "Because this contract, Turkey is afraid of this successful step, so it began bombing NE Syria."
