People of Gerke Legê: political parties should have sense of responsibility for nation

The people of the city of Gerke Legê highlighted the importance of Kurdish unity at this crucial time by saying that Kurdish political parties should put aside their differences and have a sense of responsibility for the nation in order to preserve what has been gained and help the struggle of getting their legitimate rights.

Many people of the city of Gerke Legê in al-Jazira region said that Kurdish unity is a matter of urgency now as it is the only way to ensure the existence of the Kurds in Syria and secure what they have gained at the price of the lives of their martyrs.

In this context, citizen Nihayat Musa explained that Kurdish cohesion and unity of position constitute the fundamental guarantee for protecting the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan, noting that recent events in Syria have demonstrated the importance of unity and solidarity in facing challenges and risks.

She added that Kurdish unity has been a key factor in protecting the areas of Rojava from attempts at targeting and extermination, stressing that preserving national gains and rights requires strengthening the spirit of solidarity and joint action among the Kurdish people.

She also called on all Kurdish people in Rojava and the four parts of Kurdistan to adhere to unity in order to protect national existence and ensure the future of coming generations.

For her part, citizen Aya Omar stressed that Kurdish unity is of exceptional importance at this sensitive stage due to its role in preserving the Kurdish language, culture, and identity, as well as protecting achievements made through the sacrifices of the martyrs.

She emphasized the need for Kurdish political parties to set aside their differences and work with a sense of national responsibility, noting that Kurdish unity of position would strengthen the Kurdish people’s ability to defend their rights and achievements.

Meanwhile, citizen Metin Ali pointed out that the Kurdish people are going through a sensitive period that requires greater cohesion and coordination among various Kurdish forces and parties, stressing that unifying political ranks and decision-making is a fundamental step to protecting national rights and enhancing the Kurdish position in Syria and the region.

He concluded by affirming that Kurdish unity across the four parts of Kurdistan will contribute to facing current challenges and defending legitimate rights, calling on all Kurdish parties to work together for a more stable and secure future for the Kurdish people.
