Organizing 7 mass events to demand physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan
Seven cities within the Jazira region of northeastern Syria are preparing to hold major mass events during the month of July to demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, within the framework of the global campaign “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the solution to the Kurdish issue.”

Organized by the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and within the framework of ongoing activities in northeastern Syria in support of the global campaign “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the solution to the Kurdish issue,” a series of events are being organized in the Jazira canton.
According to the program of the Preparatory Committee for events, the Jazira region will witness five public marches and two artistic events this July.
The first of these mass marches took place in the city of Tel Hamis on July 10, with the participation of the people of the city of Tel Brak and its countryside. The second took place in the city of Girkê Legê on July 16, in which, alongside the people of the city and its countryside, the people of the cities of Jal Agha and Derik participated.
The third march will be organized in the city of Ad-Darbasiyah on July 21, in which, alongside the people of the city and its countryside, the people of the cities of Zerghan and Tel Tamr will participate. The fourth will be held in the city of al-Hasakah on July 23, in which, alongside the people of the city and its countryside, the people of the cities of al-Hol and al-Shaddadi will participate. The fifth was in the city of Qamishlo on July 25.
As for the artistic events, they will be held in the city of Tirbespiyê on July 28, and the second in the city of Amuda on July 30.
The preparatory committees for the events within each city are visiting the communes and councils to encourage participation in the marches, which are expected to be held with great momentum.
