The Western Syria Development Organization (WSD) has announced the launch of a media campaign and a news center dedicated to journalists, aiming to highlight the escalating massacres and violations against Alawites, Christians, and Druze, as well as the threats targeting Kurds and moderate Sunnis.

According to the organization's statement, the campaign will provide reliable and timely information, along with field reports, survivor testimonies, briefing materials, and documentary resources, in light of the increasing frequency of violations. Recent months have witnessed horrific attacks targeting Alawites in March and April, and Druze in May and July. Meanwhile, the city of Sweida remains under a complete siege, with attacking forces controlling 33 villages.

The Beirut-based organization emphasized that the Syrian people deserve to live in freedom and peace, free from the specter of massacres, repression, and torture. It emphasized that halting these attacks is an urgent necessity, and that it is committed to achieving this through advocacy efforts and public messaging campaigns.
