A soldier of the Damascus government forces was killed, following ground attacks by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries on the al-Kabina Hills axis in the northern countryside of Latakia, and a civilian was injured as a result of artillery shelling carried out by Damascus government forces targeting the city of Atareb in the western countryside of Aleppo. According to what the SOHR reported today.

Damascus government forces also bombed with heavy artillery and rocket launchers the areas of San, Ma’rablit, and al-Bara in the southern Idlib countryside, al-Nayrab in the eastern Idlib countryside, and Kafr Amma, Kafr Taal, and al-Qasr in the western Aleppo countryside, amid reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area.

Thus, the number of soldiers and civilians killed since the beginning of 2024 rose to 196, during 172 operations, which varied between attacks, sniper operations, clashes, targeting, and suicide UAVs. More than 79 military personnel and 90 civilians were injured in the aforementioned operations, including 14 children, with varying injuries.
