According to the decision, the fees are to be paid in US dollars or their equivalent, based on the exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Syria.

Payments are to be made at border crossings and airports, with any fractional amounts rounded up to the nearest unit. The fees start at $25 and go up to $400, with the highest fees applied to Iranian nationals. Most European nationals are charged $75, while Americans face a $200 fee.

For countries not listed in the specified groups, the entry fee is $50 for a single-entry visa valid for one month.

It is noteworthy that nearly half of Syrians live outside the country after 14 years of conflict.
