New Israeli incursion into Quneitra countryside amid silence from Syrian transitional government

Last night, an Israeli force consisting of a tank and two armored personnel carriers intruded between the villages of Western Samadaniyeh and Eastern Samadaniyeh in the Quneitra countryside.

The force departed from a base recently established by the Israeli army in the town of Al-Hamidiyah, with no reports of raids or arrests.

These actions are part of ongoing Israeli incursions into Quneitra, which have totaled approximately 22 between June 9 and July 5.

These incursions resulted in the death of one civilian and the detention of 13 others. They also included attacks on civilian property, including the establishment of temporary military checkpoints, searches of residents and vehicles, raids on civilian homes, and an attack on a school, destroying its contents. The Syrian transitional government has remained silent.
