Violent explosions occurred in the countryside of Damascus, amid reports of an Israeli strike.

The media outlets of the Syrian Interim Government reported that the explosions were caused by an Israeli airstrike on ammunition depots of the former regime's army.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the airstrike targeted "ammunition depots belonging to the former regime forces in the 55th Air Defense Brigade at the foothills of Mount al-Mana near al-Kisweh in the Damascus countryside, resulting in thick smoke and strong tremors in the surrounding area."

Prior to the latest targeting, there was an aerial strike on similar warehouses in the western countryside of Damascus on Thursday, and on Friday, the Defense Factories in the Aleppo countryside were also targeted from the air.
