MIT orders killing of defecting mercenaries

Turkish occupation intelligence in the occupied city of Tal Abyad/Girê Spî has ordered the shooting and killing of anyone defecting from its mercenaries in the city and its countryside, which was occupied in 2019.

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in Tal Abyad/Girê Spî and its countryside, occupied since 2019, are experiencing confusion and tension after a large number of their leaders defected and returned to their regions and cities following the fall of the former Syrian regime.

Meanwhile, the Turkish occupation army in those areas is preventing the remaining mercenaries and their families from returning to their areas in Hama, Idlib, Aleppo, Rural Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, and other places.

According to local sources from the occupied area, Turkish intelligence has ordered the shooting and killing of anyone attempting to defect or thinking of returning to their city.

These orders come days after an internal circular was issued by the mercenary leaders, stipulating that checkpoints prevent any families from leaving the area towards their regions in Syria.
