Military, security delegation from North and East Syria in Damascus

According to ANHA correspondents, the delegation arrived in Damascus last night to meet with military and security officials from the Ministries of Defense and Interior in the transitional government.

The two sides are scheduled to hold discussions today on military and security matters.

The delegation from North and East Syria includes Suzdar Haji, member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF); Siban Hemo, member of the SDF General Command; SDF spokesperson Abgar Dawood; and commander in SDF Shaker Arab.

Also included were leaders from the Internal Security Forces in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria: Major General Dler Hussein Temu, Major General Ali Khadr al-Hasan, Major General Mustafa Mahmoud Deli, Major General Aho Aylio Lahdo, and Arin Mustafa, the co-chair of the Interior Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

Earlier, the SDF Commander had stated in an interview with Ronahi TV that a military and security delegation would soon head to Damascus.

This visit comes as part of the ongoing security and military consultations with the interim government, and within the implementation of the March 10 Agreement, which aims to strengthen field coordination and consolidate stability across the country.

Yesterday, a separate security and military meeting took place between officials from the transitional government and Turkish authorities. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yashar Guler, and Intelligence Chief Ibrahim Kalin met in Ankara with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra, and General Intelligence Chief Hussein al-Salama.
