The military forces have now withdrawn from the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods in Aleppo city, implementing the agreement between the General Council and the Damascus authorities.

Yesterday, Thursday, the first clause of the agreement was implemented, which included the clearing of prisons. As a result, 146 detainees and 97 personnel affiliated with the Damascus authorities were released.

In implementation of the sixth clause of the agreement, which states that "military forces will withdraw with their weapons from the neighborhoods to the east of the Euphrates," the military forces left the neighborhoods with their equipment and moved east of the Euphrates.
