Members in DAA call for ending regime of torture and genocide

The Co-Chair of the Economic Office of the Eastern Deir ez-Zor Canton Rural Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Daghifj denounced the violations committed by the Turkish occupation state against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying "the Turkish occupation state is following a policy of genocide against Leader Abdullah Ocalan to undermine the determination of the peoples who believe in his thought and philosophy.” He stressed, “The policies of the Turkish occupation state against the leader are not in line with human values, but rather constitute a violation of international laws and regulations; Therefore, we demand that human rights and humanitarian organizations assume their moral responsibility towards the leader."

 The Co-Chair of the Social Affairs and Toilers Committee in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Samer Al-Ahmad said: "The Turkish occupation state is still adopting authoritarian policies, through which it imposes a torture regime against Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison, with the aim of eliminating the democratic nation project and undermining the will of peoples seeking freedom and democracy."

 He explained that "anyone has the right to express their ideas, theories and points of view, and if the ideas of Leader Abdullah Ocalan conflict with the authoritarian systems of the Turkish occupation state, then other countries must rise up against the harsh treatment that the leader is subjected to by this state and its repressive policy."

  " The Turkish occupation state is trying, through imposing a torture and genocide regime to break the determination of the free peoples," Al-Ahmad added.

 While Aysha Salman the member of women committee in Deir ez-Zor council stressed that "the women in Deir ez-Zor continue to struggle and resist to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
