The Albu Asi crossing in Tabqa canton continues to receive IDPs after their city was occupied by the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham affiliated with the Turkish occupation state.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria announced on Saturday that it had received 2,892 people from the region's residents coming from Aleppo, including 2,158 students.

Hussein Sheikho, a citizen from Aleppo, said: “We were living in our homes in safety, and suddenly all of Aleppo was destroyed. My home is in Al-Midan, and when the shelling began in New Aleppo and Al-Zahraa the residents began to flee.”

Sheikho confirmed: “We took the bus to come to the areas of the Autonomous Administration because they are known for their security and stability.”

Another citizen, Hamza Qarmesh, a resident of Aleppo, said: “The situation began to deteriorate since last Wednesday, and when the mercenaries entered the western neighborhoods, we headed to Al-Safira, but we completed our displacement journey to the areas of the Autonomous Administration to search for security and stability.”

Qarmesh thanked the Autonomous Administration: “The Autonomous Administration offered initiatives to help the people of Aleppo come here, and they received us with security, peace and love, and we thank them for all of that.”

As for the citizen Hamida Al-Muhammad, she described the conditions they witnessed in the city of Aleppo as tragic, and said: "We live in Al-Fayd, and when the mercenaries entered, violent shelling and clashes began, and the aircraft began bombing. We waited until the next morning and then rushed to the areas of the Autonomous Administration."

Since Friday, the crossing in the countryside of Tabqa canton has witnessed an increasing displacement movement of the people and students of the city of Aleppo as a result of the ongoing war.
