Meeting of residents from Deir Hafer-Maskana: SDF as guarantee of security ,stability

The Relations Offices of the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces convened today an expanded meeting with the residents of Deir Hafer, located in the western countryside of the Tabqa region. The purpose was to explain the latest political developments, hear the residents' requests, and review their needs.

The meeting, held at the cultural center in Deir Hafer city, was attended by residents from Deir Hafer and Maskana, tribal elders and dignitaries, representatives from military and security forces, members of the religious council, and the Al-Bayt Association in the Tabqa canton.

The session began with a minute of silence honoring the martyrs. Following this, Hassan Kojer, Deputy Co-Chair of the Executive Council in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of Syria's territorial unity and rejecting all plans of division and sectarianism.

He also stressed the commitment of the Syrian Democratic Forces to the March 10 agreement despite the Transitional Government’s lack of serious steps toward implementing its provisions. Kojer underscored the importance of Syrian-Syrian dialogue without external interference and warned against parties seeking to sow discord and serve their international interests at the expense of Syria’s unity and stability.

Fawaz Al-Wasmi, Sheikh of the Al-Hadidin tribe, read a statement on behalf of the residents of Deir Hafer and Maskana. The statement strongly condemned the violations committed by unregulated factions against the tribal members, affirming that such acts only serve Syria’s enemies, reproduce chaos and conflict, and open the door for terrorism and foreign agendas.

The statement also emphasized that the Syrian Democratic Forces are a purely national force, formed by the sons and daughters of Syria’s diverse communities, raising the banner of defending the Syrian people. It confirmed the residents’ united and steadfast support for the SDF.

The statement concluded with a clear call for tribal members to rally around and support the Syrian Democratic Forces materially and morally, considering them the primary guarantor of security and stability. It rejected any divisive projects or attempts to restore chaos and bloodshed in the region.

Following the statement, a discussion session was opened for attendees to voice their service and institutional demands, aiming to address and fulfill their needs.
