Hundreds of people participated in a massive march, emphasizing that achieving peace and democracy begins with the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. The participants stressed their determination to continue the struggle until the isolation imposed on him is broken.
The city of Qamishlo witnessed a large popular march, with hundreds of people from the cities of Qamishlo, Tal Koçer, Çil Agha, and Romilan participating, demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The march started from Martyr Xebat Square, with broad participation from the people, civil organizations, and political parties. It toured the main streets of the city, chanting slogans such as "No life without the Leader" and "Long live Imrali resistance," while holding pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
When the march reached the central market, it turned into a mass gathering, starting with a minute of silence to honor the souls of the martyrs. Dlala Shibli, a representative of Kongra Star in the city of Tal Koçer, gave a speech emphasizing that the Leader is struggling for the freedom of all peoples. She stressed the importance of protecting his ideas and striving to achieve his physical freedom. She said, "In one voice, we affirm that the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is our demand, and we will not back down."
Atef Sabri, the co-chair of the Qamishlo City Council, also delivered a speech, stating that achieving the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is their primary goal. He confirmed that the ongoing struggle, like the resistance of the Tishrin Dam that lasted more than three months, will remain their method to achieve this goal.
Atef Sabri added that the message of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which calls for peace, has contributed to uniting the Kurdish ranks. He emphasized their commitment to the leader's thought and philosophy, which advocates for peace, democracy, and the brotherhood of peoples.
The march concluded with chanting the slogan "No life without the Leader" and a firm resolve to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
