Mass marches in Jazera Canton will start tomorrow from Arisha

The preparatory committees for major marches in Jazera Canton in the NE Syria, to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, within the framework of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” have finished the location and timing of the marches. 

The Canton is scheduled to hold 2 mass marches, according to the march programme, the first of which will start tomorrow from the city of Arisha, south of Hasaka.

The people of the city of Arisha are preparing to go out tomorrow, in a major march within the city, with the participation of the people of the cities of Al-Hol, Al-Shaddadi, and Markada, at exactly ten in the morning.

The day after tomorrow ( June 12), the people of the city of Qamishlo will go out in a second major march, with the participation of the people of the cities of “Amuda, Tirbespiyê and Tel Hamis”, in a march from the Osman Sabri roundabout at 18:00.

The preparatory committees for the marches called on members of all components to participate in the march, through communes and councils in the neighborhoods of the aforementioned cities.

It is expected that the Canton will witness similar marches in the cities of Hasaka and Derik..
