A mass grave containing the remains of 57 people was found in Mazraat al-Raheb village in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the discovery of a mass grave in the village of Mazraat al-Raheb in the southern countryside of Aleppo, containing the remains of 57 people, which were exhumed and identified as human remains.

According to the Observatory, the remains belong to 55 men, in addition to a woman and a child. This brings the total number of mass graves discovered in Syria since the beginning of 2026 to 13, containing the remains of 138 victims.
