March against international conspiracy in Raqqa Canton

Under the slogan "You will not be able to block our sun", the Union of Young Women in Raqqa Canton organized a mass march, denouncing the system of torture and extermination imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Dozens of women participated in the march, members of the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, the Young Women's Union, the Education Body of the Autonomous Administration, the Council of Martyrs' Families and the Syrian Women's Council.

A statement was delivered, that read: "In the name of the Union of Young Women in Raqqa Canton and its countryside, we stand today against the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and in support and accession to the physical freedom campaign of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the solution to the Kurdish issue that was announced on 9/10/2023 worldwide."

The Union denounced the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Ocalan, which began on November 9, 1998, and in which international intelligence participated, and the betrayal of those who claimed to be friends of the Kurdish people and their just cause.

The Union stressed: "We say to the Turkish fascist and the mercenaries who collaborate with it, you will not be able to block our sun and the sun of our leader; because we are sure that as soon as possible the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan will be announced, and therefore called on oppressed peoples and women to join more broadly the campaign for physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and support it until his physical freedom is achieved."
