Turkish occupation mercenaries kidnapped a citizen from occupied Afrin and cut down 150 ancient olive trees in its occupied countryside.
The Human Rights Organization Afrin - Syria reported the abduction of the citizen Kawa Mustafa Mustafa (40 years old) from the town of Bulbul by the Turkish occupation mercenaries "Sultan Murad Brigade" on Friday, September 27.
The organization reported that the mercenaries of "Sham Legion" cut down at least 90 ancient trees from the forest of the village of Iska, south of the city of Afrin. Moreover, they gathered it in the "Central Building" located in the Iska village, near the Turkish occupation base in the area; to sell it as winter approaches, in the markets of Afrin, Azaz, and other areas in the occupied countryside of Aleppo.
On the other hand, a source reported that a leader of the mercenaries, along with his companion, cut down 60 olive trees in the village of Ma'raska, which belongs to the town of Sharan. These trees belonged to citizens Muhammad Zaino and Luqman Tubal, and they were transported to one of the mercenaries' bases to be sold later.
