In a post on his account on the platform “X,” Afrin wrote:

“In affirmation of our firm commitment to serving our people, and within the framework of ongoing efforts to consolidate social and security stability in the region, as well as to implement the January 29 agreement.

In a step reflecting responsibility and loyalty, tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, the previously announced prisoner exchange process will be completed. The day will witness the release of 400 of our heroic sons, who will return to their families. In parallel, a new batch of detainees held by us will also be released.

The meeting point and reception of our sons will take place at Al-Sabbagh Roundabout in the city of Hasakah at 2:00 PM.

We reaffirm our commitment to our people that we will spare no effort to secure the release of all detainees, and we will continue to fulfill our duty toward society in a way that ensures comprehensive security and sustainable justice for all.”
