Leader Ocalan, Imrali detainees meet their families on Eid al-Adha

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the family of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, along with the families of other detainees in Imrali Prison, were able to visit them.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the families of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the other detainees in Imrali Prison were given the opportunity to meet their relatives.

The visit included the families of the detainees: Omar Khairi Kunar, Hamili Yıldırım, Veysi Aktaş, Zeki Bayhan, Mohammed Yamalak, and Ergin Atabi.

As part of this visit, Leader Abdullah Ocalan met, yesterday, June 7, with his brother’s sons, the MP from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (DEM) for the province of Riha (Urfa), Omar Ocalan and Ali Ocalan. He was also able, for the first time in 26 years, to meet two of his brother’s children.

On the same day, detainee Hamili Yıldırım met with his brother and cousin, while Omar Khairi Kunar met with his brother. Detainee Veysi Aktaş, held on Imrali Island, also met with his brothers as part of the same visit.

The detainees who were recently transferred to Imrali Prison, Ergin Atabi, Mohammed Yamalak, and Zeki Bayhan, were also given the opportunity to meet with their brothers today.
