"Leader Abdullah Ocalan's call embodies peoples' aspirations for democracy ,peace"

The people of Tal Tamr in al-Jazira Canton confirmed their close connection with Leader Abdullah Ocalan, stressing that his latest call represents a real call to establish peace and democracy in the region, especially for the Kurdish people who have suffered from injustice and marginalization for decades.

On February 27, a delegation of 7 members of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party and the lawyers of Leader Abdullah Ocalan visited Imrali Prison and met with the leader. Upon his return, the delegation revealed the leader's message for peace and democratic society, in which the leader launched the "process of change and democratic transformation" through his message.

In this context, ANHA's agency conducted a survey of the opinions of the people of North and East Syria about their position on Leader Abdullah Ocalan's call.

The Leader Struggles for a Peaceful and Democratic Solution

Citizen Ibrahim Alo, who was displaced from the city of Serekaniye and currently resides in Tal Tamr in Jazira Canton, told ANHA's agency: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan believed throughout his life in the principle of a peaceful and democratic solution to the Kurdish people's issue, and made many sacrifices in order to achieve this goal. Today, he proved once again that he is able to confront all international and regional changes with a strategic vision that achieves justice for all peoples."

 He added: "We are happy with the historic call of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and our connection to him is close, and we believe in everything he issues, because he always calls for democracy and peace for all peoples of the region."

He continued: "In his last message, the leader stressed that the freedom of the Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan is an absolute necessity, because this people has been subjected to injustice, marginalization, and the deprivation of rights through international agreements concluded at their expense."

The Leader Calls for a Political Solution Instead of War

As for the citizen Nasreen Salah from Tal Tamr, she praised the call of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying: "We saw and heard the message of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, in which he called for peace, freedom and democracy, not only for the Kurds, but for all the peoples of the region."

She added: "The leader realizes that wars do not bring democracy, and for this reason he presented an alternative vision that relies on a political solution instead of a military one, as the best path to achieving justice and stability."

The leader's thought established strong relations between the components

For his part, the citizen Ramo Haido, 65 years old, confirmed that the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan has become part of his daily life, saying: "For 36 years, I have been living according to the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, not only politically, but also socially. This thought has instilled in us the concepts of a free life, and established strong relations between all components on the principle of brotherhood of peoples."

Everyone agreed that Leader Abdullah Ocalan's call constitutes a real roadmap for peace and democracy, stressing that they will continue to adhere to his thought and struggle until freedom and justice are achieved for all peoples.
