Today, lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Rezan Sarıca, Radya Ozturk, Mazlum Dinç, and Faik Ozgur, filed a new request with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor in Bursa, Turkey, and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with their clients: Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omer Khairy Kunar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş, who are subjected to strict isolation by Turkey.

The lawyers submit two requests every week to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Imrali Prison Directorate, but they have received no response to their requests.

It is worth noting that the last meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan by his lawyers Rezan Sarıca and Newroz Uysal took place on August 7, 2019. On October 23, 2024, after four years of interruption, Leader Abdullah Ocalan met directly with his nephew Omer Ocalan. During the meeting, the leader conveyed a message stating: "The isolation continues, but if the conditions allow, I have the theoretical and practical ability to move this process from the ground of conflict and violence to that of legal and political resolution."
