Kurdish unity is way to thwart plots against them

Amid the rapid political and security transformations in the region, and with the escalating challenges facing the Kurdish people, an internal discourse has emerged calling for closing ranks and overcoming divisions, as the current phase does not tolerate fragmentation or disunity.

In this context, citizens and activists emphasized that achieving Kurdish unity has become an urgent necessity to protect rights and ensure the steadfastness of Kurdish existence in the face of mounting dangers.

Kurdish unity: historical necessity at this stage

Citizen Ramadan Fattah said:
“Kurdish unity has become important and urgent for our people due to the major changes taking place in the Middle East and the world. Therefore, it is important for a historic people like our Kurdish people to unite at the level of their divided homeland.”

Adding “We have seen the attacks that targeted Rojava, which aimed at exterminating the Kurds. However, Kurdish unity and the mobilization of youth across Kurdistan to resist on this land, along with the uprising of others around the world, formed a source of strength for the Kurdish people and became the reason for the Kurds’ presence on this land today.”

He affirmed that it is necessary and required to hold a comprehensive national Kurdish conference and achieve unity, pointing to the challenges facing the Kurds in southern, eastern, and northern Kurdistan. He said:
“Therefore, what is required of us, at the level of our homeland, is that our demand be a liberated Kurdistan, and that we unite in the face of hardships.”

“Kurdish unity will thwart the conspiracies”

For her part, citizen Rima Mahmoud pointed out that the Kurds fought terrorism and protected the entire world, yet the international community remained silent in the face of the sacrifices of those heroes. Therefore, it is important today for the Kurds to build their unity at the level of the homeland.

She added:
“At this stage, and in the new century, there must be Kurdish unity; otherwise, new conspiracies will be plotted against us, just as previous conspiracies targeted the region and the Kurds and sought to exterminate them.”

She concluded by saying:
“By building Kurdish unity, all conspiracies that will be plotted against the Kurds will fail, and no one will be able to erase their existence from their land.”

Unity is the sign of victory, and the blood of the martyrs is its foundation

In a related context, citizen Mohammed Amin said:
“The importance of Kurdish unity lies in the fact that it is a sign of victory. Anyone who today departs from the path of Kurdish unity is undermining this unity, because Kurdish unity is achieved as we move along this path, and it is the blood of the martyrs that has made us unite.”

He concluded by saying:
“Today, our people are far greater than our enemy, and they are moving toward their unity. We hope in these blessed days that every Kurd will declare his position and play a role in achieving unity, alongside unity with the other components coexisting with us.”
