Kurdish delegation names members for talks with Damascus

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Kurdish delegation, formed following the "Unity of Ranks and Kurdish Position in Rojava Kurdistan" conference, issued a press statement revealing the names of its members tasked with engaging in dialogue with the Damascus authorities, international stakeholders.

In a written press statement received by ANHA Agency, the joint presidency of the delegation, established pursuant to the decisions of the aforementioned conference held on April 26, 2025, in the city of Qamishlo, disclosed the names of its joint presidency and members.

 According to the statement, the delegation held its inaugural meeting on June 4, 2025, attended by the General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, along with Rohilat Afrin and Ilham Ahmed, the  member of the conference bureau.

 The statement reads as follows:

 "Following consultations among the parties participating in the 'Unity of Ranks and Kurdish Position' conference held on April 26, 2025, and in accordance with the conference’s resolution emphasizing the necessity of forming a joint Kurdish delegation to engage in dialogue with the Damascus government, international parties, and Kurdish entities, based on a unified Kurdish vision regarding Syria and the Kurdish issue, the delegation convened its founding meeting on June 4, 2025. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi and Rohilat Afrin, as well as Ilham Ahmed, the member of the conference bureau. The delegation will commence its duties in the coming days."

 Members: Aldar Khalil, Reihan Loqo, Ahmed Suleiman, Suleiman Oso, Salah Darwish, Nasruddin Ibrahim, and Faisal Yusuf.
