The Nowruz celebrations continue in all four parts of Kurdistan, as well as in many countries around the world. The Kurdish community, along with their Japanese friends, celebrated Nowruz in Tokyo.

Today, Kurds and their friends from various areas gathered at the Mitsuike Stadium in Akigase, Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo, to celebrate Nowruz. The event featured musical performances and traditional Kurdish dances, with local Kurdish artists also performing. The celebration included dishes from Kurdish cuisine.

Traditional costumes attracted significant attention, providing an opportunity to strengthen unity and solidarity among the Kurdish community in Japan, amid a lively atmosphere.

The event was originally scheduled for March 20, but it was postponed to March 23 due to heavy snowfall.
