Kongra Star denounces February 15 plot

The Kongra Star Council denounced the international conspiracy that targeted Leader Ocalan on February 15, 1999, through a written statement.

At the beginning of its statement, the Council referred to the international conspiracy against Leader Ocalan that began on October 9, 1998, and said: “The powers of global imperialism attack every place where the seeds of peoples’ freedom grow and destroy them, they are organizing themselves against all revolutionary and freedom-seeking powers. It exerts great pressure that may lead to the annihilation of peoples in order to extend its influence more and more.”

The Kongra Star reaffirmed that leader Ocalan “turned Imrali Prison into an arena for endless resistance and unlimited steadfastness, made it a school for free thought, led the greatest intellectual and emotional revolution, and did not only guide there “how to live,” but rather engraved a map for “how to resist”, The Kurdish people and leader Apo’s comrades made themselves a resistance ring of fire around the leader and said with sacrificial resistance: “You will not be able to block our sun.”

And pointed out that the fascism of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement, which undertakes the task of continuing the conspiracy and working to achieve its desired goal, targets every free Kurd, and seeks to make the conspiracy succeed through policies of erasure, dirty diplomacy, and air and ground attacks, But to confront this, the struggle for freedom is strengthened, It reaches every woman who wants freedom, and the model of the democratic nation based on the unity of peoples triumphs and succeeds more day after day, especially in Rojava.

The Kongra Star Council emphasized raising the pace of the struggle for the freedom of women and peoples, under the slogan “Women, Life, Freedom,” and according to the foundations of the revolutionary people’s war, defeating the international conspiracy, achieving physical freedom for the leader, ensuring the freedom of the Kurdish people, and preserving the model of the democratic nation.
