Kobani Administration receives delegation from Interim Government in Syria

The administration of Kobani received a delegation from the Interim Government in Syria as part of follow-up efforts on the integration file under the January 29 agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Interim Government.

A delegation from the Interim Government in Aleppo visited the city of Kobani today, headed by Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Balikh, Director of Internal Trade in Aleppo, as part of ongoing efforts to follow up on the integration process with the Autonomous Administration. The delegation also included several heads of service institutions, among them directors of the Syrian Grain Corporation, bakeries, supply services, and the Syrian Trading Corporation.

The delegation was received by Farhan Haj Issa, Co-Chair of the Executive Council in Kobani, Mohammad Mustafa Mohammad, Director of Kobani District, and representatives of the relevant institutions in the agriculture, grain, bakeries, and mills sectors in Kobani.

Both sides discussed ways to facilitate the integration of institutions, especially preparations for the 2026 season, mechanisms to support the agricultural sector and provide services to farmers, in addition to discussing issues of civil peace, strengthening coexistence among Syrians, and rejecting hate speech.

They also addressed the need to accelerate the release of detainees by the concerned parties, stressing the continuation of joint meetings to overcome obstacles in a way that serves the interests of all Syrians from all components.
